The 2013 Ontario Volleyball Championships were being hosted at the RIM Park in Waterloo this past weekend, the Vision U13 Girls team put in their strongest effort of the year to take home the Silver Medal.
The Vision Girls battled through some early tough matches before finding their rhythm. They then dominated 3 complete matches in a row to land them in the Gold Medal round against the Brampton Selects. The team continued their consistent play throughout the match but couldn’t manage to grab the win. Nonetheless, they are thrilled with their Silver medal performance and a great end to the season.
Vision U13 Girls team members include: Emily Drenth, Hannah Horsman, Kate Mah, Hayley Monaghan, Shaelyn Laronde, Tia Hopper, Tessa Pizzale, Mina Linklater, Guilia Valenti, Caleigh Porter, Zara Sheppard with Coaches Danny Gosselin and Paige Shemilt.
