The 15UG Vision Volleyball team recently participated in the 16U OVA McGregor Cup in Barrie.
The under aged team went into the tournament ranked second next to the North Bay Youth Volleyball Club. The Vision team finished 2nd overall in their regular pool play.
The girls faced the Georgian Cubs in their cross-over game winning in 3 sets, 21-25, 25-21 and 15-11. The next battle would be against the NBYVC. The 15UG were up for the fight and would ultimately win the match in 2 sets, 25-18 and 25-21.
The gold medal match was played against the North West Simcoe Wolves with the VVC team coming out of the match winning in sets, 25-13 and 25-14 and capturing a Gold medal.
This is the second medal for the 15U team at 16U tournaments this season. Head Coach Danny Gosselin was pleased with the girls overall team effort, top to bottom and battling for the win.
