John Jeffries received the Syl Apps Volunteer Achievement Award for his continued dedication to the sport of volleyball. The current Region 2 President is also a Head Coach and Director of Coaching and Player Development at the Wildcat Volleyball Club; a SPIKES Clinician; and most recently the Head Coach of the Region 2 Girl’s Team at the 2012 Ontario Winter Games. John has coached OFSAA and OCAA teams to Gold, is a two-time OCAA Coach of the Year, and was inducted into North Bay Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.
