Vision Volleyball 15UG recently won a gold medal while competing at the Ontario Volleyball Association's Challenge Cup in King City.  

The 4th ranked team finished second in regular pool play.  In the first cross-over game the team faced North Simcoe Wolves from Orillia winning that game in 3 sets, 25-11, 22-25 and 15-11.  In the semi-finals they faced another northern Ontario team from Sudbury, Northern Chill.  The girls battled and beat the 1st ranked team in 2 sets, 25-23 and 25-22.  

In the final and gold medal match,  Vision faced a hard hitting team, Barrie Elites.  It was a hard fought battle with the final set going point for point, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.  The Vision team would take the match in 2 sets, 25-16 and 27-25.  

The girls will now move up to Championship Division for their next OVA 15U tournament February 8th.  

Coach Danny Gosselin was very pleased with the development throughout the day and is looking forward to the team's next tournament.
